We are looking for nursing trainers!


We are looking for enthuastic trainers to conduct our knowledge assessment exam preparation courses for foreign nursing staff in Berlin. In the future, training programs of this kind will take place all over Germany. Each course is divided into theoretical and practical components, and is designed to last a total of 14 weeks. You will be responsible, together with a second lecturer, if necessary, for the implementation of the theory component. The scope of your assignment within the course framework will last up to 5 weeks in total (1 block of 4 weeks + 1 week of repetition), and will be integrated into the overall course duration. In addition to this, you can also accompany and support the participants on an hourly basis during the internship phase. This course provides foreign nursing staff with all  of the necessary knowledge to work in Germany as a recognized specialist and prepares them for the subsequent knowledge assessment examination. Knowledge of nursing education and/or continuing education as a practical instructor is mandatory. In addition, we emphasize strong teamwork, communication, and coordination skills with other teaching areas and staff.




– Trained nursing specialist, with completed studies in nursing pedagogy, or related training or teaching experience

– Experience as a lecturer is preferred

– Professional pedagogical demeanor, with the ability to design lessons in an action-oriented and innovative way




Your tasks during the theory phase include teaching the following topics. Lessons can be divided between several lecturers so that you do not have to cover all nursing theory areas.

– Legal framework

– Hygiene and prophylaxis

– Care theories, models and concepts

– Care processes

– Support, advice and guidance on health and care-related issues

– Care- and therapeutic measures in specific life situations/disease patterns

– Issuing treatment orders

– Support on an hourly basis during the internship phase


PLACE OF WORK: Berlin/Brandenburg (in the future, deployments across Germany will be prepared)


BEGINNING: from September 2020 (Please note: We are planning further preparation courses. It is possible to start at a later date).


WORKING TIMES: The scope of your assignment can be up to 5 weeks in total (plus support during the internship phase). There are 8 units (45 min.) planned, which you can divide with another lecturer if necessary.


EMPLOYMENT: Freelance (Permanent employment may be possible at a later date)


PAYMENT: commensurate with experience and responsibility
