Telc language examinations at home and abroad

The Start Language Service is an accredited telc examination center of telc gGmbH and has been organising language tests in Germany and abroad for several years!

At our premises in Berlin-Schöneberg you can take your telc exam as an individual or group examination. The time frame for this depends on your wishes. You decide when you would like to take the exam!

We are not only an experienced telc examination center, but we are also happy to prepare you specifically for your telc examination! We offer individual exam preparation by telc experienced teachers.

What is telc?

“The European Language Certificates” is an internationally recognized language certificate from telc gGmbH. telc gGmbH is a non-profit organization that offers more than 90 different language exams in 10 languages. All current examination formats can be found under the following link: Examination formats Official telc examination centres are located in over 20 countries around the world. The telc certificate is recognized by universities, companies and various authorities. It is based on the globally recognised CEFR level system, which allows for a transparent and simple assessment of foreign language skills. The telc exam assesses your language skills in four areas: reading, listening, writing and speaking. Each telc exam consists of a written and an oral component, with the written component covering reading, writing and listening skills.

Registration for telc exam:

We should receive your exam registration at least 30 days before your desired exam date. After the registration deadline, registration is only possible after prior consultation with the examination institution and for an additional fee (15,- €).

Test result and certificate:

The result of your telc exam is available to us 4-6 weeks after your exam date. If you need the result earlier, we will gladly request an express evaluation for you so that you receive the result approximately 2 weeks after you took the test. An additional fee of 50,- € will be charged for an express evaluation.

The exam fee depends on the exam format. Please let us know your desired examination format for a detailed price information.
